Hope Christian
Counseling Center

Hope Christian Counseling Center is a
subgroup of Parker, Schlichter & Associates, designed to serve the
interests of those clients seeking a scripture-based approach to
counseling and psychotherapy. While other Christian counseling
organizations maintain an appropriate focus on the centrality of
Christian theology in the lives of their clients, they may not
always integrate Christian principles with a highly skilled
therapeutic approach. Hope Christian Counseling successfully
integrates a scripture-based approach with the use of
well-documented, clinically proven, and state-of-the-art
psychotherapeutic practices.
At Hope Christian Counseling,
accessible, consumer-friendly, straightforward, common-sense, and
skilled therapeutic techniques are used in the context of a caring,
nonjudgmental relationship between client and therapist. With the
guidance of the Holy Spirit and the input of His Holy Word, these
components contribute to a psychotherapy experience demonstrated to
improve both personal satisfaction and the quality of interpersonal
relationships for people living their lives in accord with Christian
beliefs and principles.
Counseling is provided to individuals, couples, and families,
including children, adolescents and adults, in efforts to:
♦ Alleviate depression and anxiety
♦ Stop, respond to, and resolve effects of child abuse and domestic
violence
♦ Manage symptoms of ADHD (and ADD) with both children and adults
♦ Resolve problems related to anothers use of alcohol and/or drugs
♦ Respond effectively to parenting challenges
♦ Resolve home and school child/adolescent behavior problems
♦ Deal effectively with consequences of separation and divorce
♦ Resolve post-abortion grief
♦ Reduce marital and family conflict
♦ Resolve other relationship issues
♦ Reduce the experience of work stress and resolve other work
problems
